StarRupture Export ROI: How To Calculate Best Exports

Export ROI determines your progression speed. Here's how ROI is calculated, how to read the results, and which exports actually matter.

What Is Export ROI (And Why It Matters)

Export ROI = reputation points earned per unit of production time. Higher ROI = faster corporation progression.

I wasted hours exporting low-ROI items because they "looked valuable." The calculator changed how I play.

How ROI Is Calculated

Formula: ROI = Export Points / (Production Time + Material Cost). Our calculator uses your machine counts to estimate time accurately.

Two items might give the same points, but if one takes twice as long, its ROI is half. Time is the hidden cost.

How To Read The ROI Table

The Export ROI Calculator ranks all exportable items by ROI score. Green (70+) = strong choice. Yellow (40-69) = acceptable. Red = inefficient.

Pay attention to blueprint warnings. High theoretical ROI is useless if you can't craft the item.

Using ROI For Better Decisions

Focus on your top 2-3 ROI items. Spreading production across many low-ROI exports slows everything down.

Re-run the calculator after unlocking new recipes or adding machines. Your optimal export changes as your base evolves.
